Fire Extinguisher Service

The large number of fire extinguishers in various facilities means that they need to be maintained to prevent them from malfunctioning in case of a fire, which could result in significant damage. In order for any legal entity to perform maintenance on fire extinguishers, they must possess suitable workspace and employ qualified personnel. Authorization must be obtained from the manufacturer or importer to service fire extinguishers. Once authorized, stickers for servicing fire extinguishers must be obtained from the Ministry of the Interior (MUP) for the extinguishers covered by the manufacturer’s or importer’s authorization.

Multiteh Engineering provides servicing and inspection of the following equipment:

Periodic and routine inspection of all types of fire extinguishers,

Servicing, refilling, and maintenance of all types of fire extinguishers,

Testing the integrity and functionality of the hydrant network and equipment

Testing the integrity and functionality of all types of automatic fire suppression systems,

Testing the integrity and functionality of all systems for detecting explosive and toxic gases,

Testing emergency lighting systems.

A hydrant network is a system of pipelines, devices, and equipment used to deliver water from a secure source to protected areas and facilities. Two types of hydrant networks should be distinguished: internal and external hydrant networks.

An internal hydrant network for fire suppression is a system installed within the protected facility, ending with a drum with coiled pipes of constant cross-section and a nozzle or fire hose with connectors and a nozzle.

An external hydrant network for fire suppression is a system installed outside the protected facility, terminating in an above-ground or underground hydrant.
