ADR


ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) is an agreement governing the international transportation of hazardous substances by road.

In accordance with the Law on the Transport of Dangerous Goods and the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), drivers transporting hazardous substances as defined by the ADR, as well as accompanying personnel and individuals involved in loading, unloading, storage, and related activities in the transportation of hazardous substances, are required to be trained for such tasks. Multiteh Engineering d.o.o Zenica is authorized to conduct professional training for drivers of motor vehicles transporting dangerous substances (ADR) and other personnel involved in the transportation of hazardous materials.

Hazardous materials are classified as follows:

Class 1 – Explosive substances and articles: – Class 1.1 – Substances and articles posing a risk of mass explosion – Class 1.2 – Substances and articles posing a risk of projection but not a mass explosion hazard – Class 1.3 – Substances and articles posing a risk of ignition and minor explosion hazard – Class 1.4 – Substances and articles presenting no significant hazard – Class 1.5 – Very insensitive substances with a mass explosion hazard – Class 1.6 – Extremely insensitive substances with a mass explosion hazard

Class 2 – Gases compressed, liquefied, or dissolved under pressure

Class 3 – Flammable liquids

Class 4.1 – Flammable solids

Class 4.2 – Substances liable to spontaneous combustion

Class 4.3 – Substances which, in contact with water, emit flammable gases

Class 5.1 – Oxidizing substances – Class 5.2 – Organic peroxides

Class 6.1 – Toxic substances

Class 6.2 – Infectious substances

Class 7 – Radioactive materials

Class 8 – Corrosive substances

Class 9 – Miscellaneous dangerous substances

The Institute for Safety and Environment, authorized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the professional training of drivers of motor vehicles transporting dangerous goods (ADR), is qualified and authorized to conduct professional training for such drivers and other individuals involved in the transportation of hazardous materials.

Professional training for drivers transporting hazardous materials is conducted through courses, including:

  • Basic course
  • Supplementary course for drivers transporting hazardous materials in tanks
  • Supplementary course for drivers of class 1 (explosive materials)
  • Supplementary course for drivers of class 7 (radioactive materials).
